The Stratford Youth Can-Do,
along with other Youth Organizations, will be canvassing for the
Salvation Army
Red Shield Appeal
Thursday, April 30 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
& Saturday, May 2nd 10:00 am to 12 noon.
Meet at the Youth Room, Cotton Centre to receive your area and map for canvassing.
REMEMBER.....your family and friends are more than welcome to join in AND we are always looking for drivers. THANK YOU!!!
Please show your support for this valuable organization and give what you can when a Stratford Youth comes knocking on your door.

Rock n' Rally for Sustainable Youth Employment
Rally!A rally featuring young local musicians and artists will be held on Friday, May 1st at Province House on University Ave at 4:30.This event will offer an opportunity for youth to engage with the community on career choice issues for youth. Information leaflets will be distributed highlighting alternative options for youth to become involved in the community and take charge of their own career paths and future.Come out to speak your mind, listen to local musicians, enjoy some free food, art, and show public engagement in action - show that our Canadian Democracy includes a voice for youth workers! Demand that youth be provided options to work for healthy communities and peaceful, rewarding career paths.Rock!This event will be followed up that evening by an all ages rock show featuring local youth musicians and information for youth looking for alternative career paths as they enter the workforce. This show will also feature a variety of contact people from different organizations offering youth innovative and alternative options after or during high school to work, travel and volunteer within their community. Venue to be announced (Charlottetown area, likely the Murphy Center).If you or your community group, organization or outreach project would like to take advantage of this event as a channel to engage with youth and inform them as to what your programs/services offer youth, contact the PEI Youth coalition. youth.pei@gmail.comThis will be a musical show environment with tables/kiosks at the back of the hall where your org can distribute information and dialogue with the youth present that are interested in what your organization has to offer them.Examples of groups attending:

Anyone looking for a channel to PEI's youth!
i.e. Entrepreneurship groups, Organic Farmers, Artisans, who want to promote their trade to youth!
