Dance Dates
These are the Youth Can-Do youth dance dates: May 11 June 15 Sept 21 Oct 26 Nov 23
Don't forget that the dances are just for grades 7-9, from 7-10pm, all on Fridays. Cost is $5 in advance, $6 at the door. You can call 569-6925 if you want info.
could you please try and have dances for the older bunch? because myrons is closed and there is no places that hold dances. and I heard you got rid of the younger kids dances. so couldnt you switch the time-slots?
Hi, We don't have summer dances because nobody ever shows up. People are too busy with soccer or are gone away on vacation. We've tried summer dances and have lost a ton of money at them. ------------------------ As for dances for the older kids... We held one once, and the turnout was very poor. But we are also concerned with having to hire extra security to deal with alcohol, drugs, etc. which usually come with the older crowd. Not saying all older youth get drunk and do drugs, but there are always a few who ruin the dance for everyone.
However, I'll be sure to bring this up at the next Executive Committee Meeting.
