Nov 5 & 6: Youth Can –Do have been invited to prepare “lunch” for the Community School Program. With the support of Stratford Sobey’s, together, we will be creating veggie pot pie tarts on Tuesday and deliver these on Wednesday night for approximately 200 students.
Nov 11: Remembrance Day Ceremony & Reception 10:15 AM at Town Centre
Nov 12 & 19: Chef Lucas Thompson will be providing cooking classes for youth through the Town of Stratford from 6 – 7:30. Registration fee is $5. Please contact tcraig@townofstratford.ca or visit www.townofstratford.ca for more information.
Nov 15: In collaboration with ARC PEI & local dance performers, YCD will host another safe, fun and jam packed 3 hours for Stratty’s! We welcome and encourage parents to volunteer as chaperones.
Nov 17: Annual Food Drive from 1pm – 3pm. YCD members will be covering Beacon Hill area.
Nov 21: Food from Away with PEI Association of Newcomers. Youth are invited to learn how to make a food dish from a volunteer of the PEI ANC.
Nov 22: An Evening Together at Now N Zen is proud to present Pam Atkinson of the Women’s Network of PEI. Aside from many gifts and talents, Pam is facilitating Active Parenting of Teens. Please join us for an interactive, educational and comfortable session from 6pm – 8pm at Now n Zen Café & Yoga Studio. For more information contact ycd@townofstratford.ca
Nov 5, 12, 19 & 26: On Tuesday evenings for grades 7 + we’d like to start opening up the Cotton Centre kitchen to learning about and preparing food. Donations of kitchen wares are appreciated.
